STAA organized a series of educational activities for employees’ children in its South Sumatra operational areas during the school holiday period ahead of the new academic year. The program was carried out in stages, beginning at PT Hanuraba Sawit Kencana and PT Sawit Agro Lestari on Saturday, July 4, 2026, and continuing at PT Transpacific Agro Industry on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
Through this program, STAA provided a positive space for employees’ families to interact through activities that were both enjoyable and educational. The event began with a group exercise session, followed by team games that encouraged the children to stay active, work together, and participate in a cheerful atmosphere. As a form of appreciation, prizes were also given to the winners, adding to the excitement and enthusiasm throughout the program.
Beyond the recreational activities, participants also took part in basic health checks, including height, weight, and head circumference measurements. The program was complemented by the distribution of healthy meals and an educational session on proper toothbrushing habits. The material was delivered in a simple and interactive way, making it easier for the children to understand and apply healthy habits in their daily lives.
On this occasion, Mr. David Ari Sandri, Regional Controller of South Sumatra, encouraged parents to continue supporting their children’s education and health as an important foundation for their future. He shared that children are the next generation who should be encouraged to pursue the highest possible level of education, allowing them to develop their potential and take on various roles in the years ahead. He also emphasized the importance of balanced nutrition through accessible food sources, such as rice, cassava, sweet potatoes, vegetables, tofu, tempeh, and fish, while also reminding parents of the importance of maintaining dental and oral health from an early age as part of a healthy lifestyle.
Through this initiative, STAA continues to support the creation of a work environment that not only pays attention to employee welfare, but also extends care to their families. The program reflects the company’s effort to strengthen its relationship with employees’ families while fostering a corporate culture that supports the growth and development of the next generation.
